About Tammy

Tammy Hayano took her love of travel, teaching, and transformational experiences to create Hanuman Yoga Retreat. Since 2013, she has led retreats in Asia, Mexico, and USA. Tammy brings a gentle, down-to-earth, and reflective approach—aiming to work where people are at, instead of where they "should" be. Tammy offers modalities for self-care, healing, and connection while creating a conscious community.

Her trainings include: 300 hour Hatha Yoga with White Lotus Foundation; JourneyDance, QiGong; Innerdance Energy Work; TRE/tension-trauma release Level II Provider; Laughter Yoga; and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.

Tammy currently lives in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

My gentle and moderate yoga classes will benefit all levels of students looking for a mindful practice, slowing down, and being in the present moment. Instead of focusing on whether you are "good" at yoga or not, we will practice enjoying spending time in your body, being attuned to the sensations that arrive, and staying curious. This somatic approach keeps learning infinite while building a strong and healthy relationship with yourself. During this retreat, I will offer pranayama, meditation, and various forms of yoga: Hatha, laughter, partner, and restorative. Additionally, we will explore other self-care modalities: Qigong, TRE, and energy work.
