About Melissa

Melissa Luna is a bilingual 200-hour RYT in Puerto Vallarta. Her introduction to yoga began with Ashtanga and Rocket Vinyasa, which evolved into many different styles and movement modalities, later becoming certified in Hatha-Vinyasa with the School Yoga Institute in Guatemala. Fittingly, Melissa practices and teaches many different styles of yoga, although you can expect her classes to be mostly flow-based, designed to create strength, freedom and fluidity in the body and mind. Her love for movement makes them physically invigorating moving meditations, which incorporate mindfulness, introspection, and help cultivate compassion for oneself and others. Melissa believes that once we are truly in our bodies and willing to bring presence to what’s here and now, we can begin to unlock the secrets of life.
