About Alejandra

I have been practicing Tibetan Buddhism for 18 years and Vipassana meditation for 4 years. I started practicing ashtanga and vinyasa with Quetzal Rios in 2004 and did my teacher's training in 2010 with Anna Laurita at Davannayoga . From 2010 to 2015 I taught vinyasa, restorative and Thai massage at the Mayan Palace. In 2015 I moved to Valle de Bravo and opened OM yoga. In 2017 I moved to Playa del Carmen and practiced with Michael Gannon and Wayne Krassner. Last year I spent two months in Arambol, India practicing at Balu's ashtanga yoga. In 2018 I came back to Vallarta and did 100 hours training at Davannayoga where I am currently teaching.

Through teaching yoga I love to remind myself and students of that peaceful place of stillness, silence and openness within which we so often forget about.

During this week you are going to learn breathing techniques that will allow your body to open and flow easily into the postures. Together we will explore the best options for you to feel comfortable and advance with ease in your yoga practice. You will learn easy and yet deep meditation techniques and I will treat you to restorative yoga sessions and Thai massage with aromatherapy at the end of every class.

My goal is for you to take the beautiful gift of yoga so that you will be able to practice with confidence either on your own or with a group.
